Join a dynamic team servicing a large and diverse fleet of small plant, utilities and passenger cars, trucks, heavy plant and machinery Use your extensive mechanical skills and knowledge to define solutions to technical issues, minimise down time and improve maintenance efficiencies.

**About the role**:

- carries out scheduled service, maintenance and repairs or breakdown response service on a diverse range of Councils fleet, plant and outdoor power equipment
- identifying and diagnosing problems from electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- reading equipment manuals and schematics; and keeping accurate service records across the entire range of Council operated fleet, plant and equipment
- uses asset management software to comply with all service, repairs and steel fabrication work as required.

**We are seeking**:

- a thorough working knowledge of the relevant legislative regulations associated with the operation, maintenance and repairs fleet, plant and outdoor power equipment
- four years practical experience in workshop operations
- current Vehicle Licence - Medium Rigid.
