The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks between both our Mountain View Retirement Village and our Banora Point Retirement Village. Working closely with the Community Managers at both locations, you will ensure our buildings & fixtures are well-maintained and presentable. The ideal candidate needs to be friendly, approachable to residents, have the ability to work autonomously and have general maintenance or 'handyperson' experience. In this role, you will be working in a tight-knit community where you will thrive in making our community a better place for residents
This new opportunity is a Full time position working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. This is a split role working Monday and Tuesday at our Mountain View Retirement Village and Wednesday-Friday at our Banora Point Retirement Village

Your Impact
- You will attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
- Oversee maintenance work undertaken by Contractors within the community
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
- Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team
- Please note - no electrical work is required as part of the role
What you will bring
- Experience in General Maintenance and 'Handyperson' roles (highly desired)
- A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
- Valid driver's licence (required)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
- Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date (required)
