To support our production crew in continuing to produce high quality beer, we’re on the hunt for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering team at our Murwillumbah brewery.

Our brewing and packaging equipment is the lifeblood of our production site and keeping that kit humming is what this role is all about. We’d be super keen to chat to anyone that has aligned mechanical fitting experience in a role within the food and beverage industry, or a related field where you’ve had great experience troubleshooting and solving problems

**More broadly we’re on the hunt for someone who**:

- Shows a disciplined focus on safety
- Has a minimum Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
- Be autonomous in repairs, administration, and materials
- Willing to learn and understand production and utilities services
- Enjoys working within a team and alongside other contracted trades people
- Gets involved in the business with an eye for continual improvemen

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work within and role model all OH&S practices
- Hands on mechanical maintenance on our plant and equipment
- Assist with timely resolution equipment breakdowns and issues
- Site installation work on capital projects
- Contribution to our preventative maintenance program
- Support and coaching our pack and brew crew on equipment reliability and faults

This is a full-time shift-based role with weekend callout responsibilities, and we’re open to talking to anyone who’s available to start between now and September. The role is predominately based in Murwillumbah but is also required to support our Byron Bay and Brisbane facilities on an as needs basis.
