**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead and deliver innovative community and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Manage and grow the online engagement platform Your Say Clarence
- Provide strategic advice and planning across diverse project teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships through events, forums and public engagement
- Analyse and report on community input to inform council decisions

**About you**:

- Experienced in engagement strategy, stakeholder management, and IAP2 methodologies
- Skilled communicator with strong report writing, facilitation and negotiation abilities
- Politically astute and able to work effectively in a government environment
- Proactive mentor and collaborator who supports knowledge sharing and team development
- A strategic thinker who can manage competing priorities, with a flexible and resilient approach to challenges

**What we offer you**:

- Base salary between $89,760.55 and $99,774.18 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
- Permanent/full-time
- Monthly rostered day off
