We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to join our team to work with participants in Mt Gravatt, Kingston, Loganlea, and Thornlands.

We are looking for support workers who have **good communication skills** and **good knowledge about Mental Health** to assist our participants to work towards their NDIS goals.

We provide personal care support, domestic assistance, and community access support to persons living with a disability.

**Duties and responsibilities may include**:

- Personal care: showering, dressing and grooming
- Medication reminding
- Domestic assistance: household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Community Access: social activities, grocery shopping, medical appointments
- Supporting clients who have mental health challenges.
- Supporting clients with physical and/or challenging needs.
- Expected to follow the company policies and procedures and code of conduct.
- Monitoring the well-being of clients reporting and documenting on their progress.
- Attending training as required.

**You will have**:

- Minimum Certificate III in Disability or Mental Health
- Experience in disability support work or Mental Health support
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one once commenced
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Smart mobile phone with internet access
- Double Vaccinated for COVID-19
