**How will I help?**

Business Lending Operations is part of Group Operations, providing support to internal and external customers. We aspire to create a high performance and customer-centric culture and are focused on delivering the service resolution to our customers.

This role directly contributes to the Westpac Vision to be one of the world’s great service companies, helping our customers, communities, and people to prosper and grow. The purpose of this role is to ensure that requests received from Business Partners and Customers are actioned promptly with enthusiasm, care and expectations exceeded.

As a Business Lending Operations Team Member, you play an integral role in the development of a cohesive team environment and in building strong relationships across other in Business Lending Operations and Westpac. You will share best practice, thoughts, ideas and feedback with others and work together to meet all challenges in delivering a great customer experience.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Champion the Westpac Vision and Values, focusing on flawless delivery of our Customer Promise.
- Maintain high attention to detail and Customer Service standards.
- Understand our Customer’s needs and offer the best solution and consistently deliver on Customer promises.
- Ensure that daily work is prioritised & actioned with appropriate follow up of pending items.
- Build strong, effective working relationships within the immediate team, and across other teams in Westpac.
- Ensure that all problems are dealt with effectively and are tracked through to resolution or escalated to Team Manager.
- Ensure all compliance requirements for role and maximise Westpac’s reputation for corporate responsibility by ensuring all dealings are ethical and compliant.
- Use and comply with procedures and controls.
- Have sufficient knowledge of processes and escalation procedures where issues fall outside existing policy and/or procedures.
- Identify and escalate continuous improvement opportunities to improve process and efficiency.
- Meet the objectives in all key areas enhancing productivity, quality and giving Customers a unique experience

**What do I need?**
- Banking and Finance knowledge and experience is preferable
- Understanding customer needs and delivery of superior customer service.
- High level of verbal and numerical comprehension.
- Highly computer literate and able to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written) and ability to influence.
- Experience with MS office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- High standard of Phone Etiquette.
- Ability to build & maintain key relationships with business partners
