Troocoo is proud to bring to market this Chapter Lead position within the Data Engineering practice for this leading organisation in the Financial Services sector, based here in Brisbane.

As a Chapter Lead, your primary responsibility is to foster a world-class capability within your chapter. In this role, you will act as a promoter and ambassador for the new culture and working methods and your expertise in a particular domain will be crucial as you guide and support your chapter members in developing their T-shaped skills and knowledge through coaching, training, and career development initiatives.

**Key Accountabilities & Capabilities**:

- Working with Tribe Leads and Product Owners to oversee efficient allocation of Chapter members to Tribes and Platforms in line with current and forecasted needs.
- Recruitment, development and retention of Chapter members including career pathway development.
- Facilitate the use of Scaled Agile principles and practices to ensure successful execution of Tribe and Platform missions and objectives.
- Helping to define the standards, processes and best practices for your Chapter and contributing to the goals of the broader Practice.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for developing others.
- Proficient in managing, coaching, and fostering the growth of technical professionals.
- Possesses exceptional technical expertise, serving as a valuable thought partner to product owners.
- Boasts a successful track record in matrix management, including the management of nationally distributed resources and partners, both offshore and onshore.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- 5 - 10 years of leadership experience and relevant University Degree (desirable)
- Experience developing, coaching and engaging technology professionals.
- Experience in resource planning and allocation within and across organisations
- 10+ years of technical expertise in the relevant capability
- Data Platforms, Data Architecture and Data Engineering
- Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, ETL/ELT and Data Pipelines
- Data Modelling, including Data Vault 2.0 implementations.
- Automation, DevOps & DataOps
- Experience working in an AWS environment (or equivalent)
- SQL, Database technologies and development including but not limited to: AWS Redshift, Db2, Oracle, Dbt, DataBricks.
- ITSM, ITAM & ITIL
