**About the Role**

Exciting opportunity with this FMCG and Food Giant, within the Marketing team as the Product & Portfolio Manager. This role will be accountable for driving growth through managing multiple projects across the the Branded and Breakthrough Innovation team portfolio.

This role will be accountable for bringing new breakthrough product concepts to market by project managing the end-to-end process including scoping, feasibility and development.

This is a unique opportunity with 100% ownership for delivery of the breakthrough innovation pipeline, all of which is owned and driven by the Australian and New Zealand businesses. We are seeking a driven individual who will make this role their own, whom excels in building strong stakeholder relationships and enjoys a high level of autonomy, ownership and accountability.

**Key responsibilities**
- Owning the delivery of breakthrough innovation projects
- Ideation and consumer research to help build pipeline
- Project manage all relations across grocery channels
- Collaborate with the Consumer & Shopper Insights, Sales, Brand Marketing and Product Development team to execute the agreed and aligned Strategy in a way that balances the needs of the consumer (first), customers and company goals
- Selectively and strategically create, lead and launch innovation via following the NPD and stagegate process and collaborate with the operations team to ensure viability and operational fit of innovation projects.
- Work with strategy to manage the total SKU portfolio including SKU optimisation
- Work with Marketing Manager Brands to support and execute advertising support for innovation and key seasons.
- Work with Marketing Manager Brands to execute packaging and design updates including facilitation of artwork, pre-press approval and proof management through to management of print processing methods with external suppliers.
- Facilitation of artwork production including design, pre-press approval and proof management through to management of print processing methods with external suppliers
- Manage run-out of existing packaging with supply planning to ensure on time delivery of new packaging.

**What you need to be successful**
- Prior project management experience, ideally within a food manufacturing background
- Ability to turn the complex into the simple and manage through ambiguity.
- Enjoy partnering with stakeholders internally and externally and building collaborative relationships.
- Solutions focused with a can-do attitude
- Strong understanding of stage gate processes
- Confident working autonomously project deliverables using a high level of initiative, personal drive and motivation
- Enjoy partnering with stakeholders internally and externally and building collaborative relationships which achieve growth and deliver of business goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident working with external partners and presenting updates, results and innovation internally and to key customers
- Previous NPD and brand building experience is advantageous
- Ability to lead key projects across cross functional teams to ensure project outcomes are delivered on and responsible for meeting timelines and commercials commitments.
