For giving our customers the best possible solutions **Would you like the freedom to try new things** **Looking for the space to do things differently** Reporting to the Strategic Alliance Manager in our Consumer Division in Financial Institutions, the Portfolio Manager is a role that has been newly created, following a large, strategic acquistion. The purpose is to support the Strategic Alliance Manager in a market facing capacity, as well as optimise growth and profitability outcomes for the portfolio encompassing customer experience, strategic program delivery, acuisition across all channels, pricing and claims to effectively respond to the needs of business partners. **Responsibilties in the role**: - Execute proactive portfolio management and analysis to identify effective strategies and solutions aimed at improving client profitability. - Develop, implement and review cycle management plans and agree on performance objectives and strategies. - Provide performance reporting, highlight emerging trends and identify improvement strategies. - Lead engagement and delivery with internal and external stakeholders to support the portfolio management. - Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing portfolio and existing relationships. - Lead key portfolio initiatives and projects. - Oversee thesupervision and monitoring of third party distribution to ensure compliance. **To be successful you'll need**: - Considerable prior experience within the General Insurance industry and end-to-end delivery of projects, with a strong track record in sales and distribution of financial services products - Track record in demonstrating commercial acumen by using insights related to the market, opportunities, risks and competitors within the insurance industry as well as the dynamic levers that influence these factors. - Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes. - Demonstrates enthusiasm and ability to optimise business value to customers through innovation, delivering high quality services and positive customer experiences to sustain and enhance the customer base. - Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people. - Demonstrates the ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence. - Proven strategic sales ability including effective business planning, negotiation skills, the ability to influence and persuade. **What you'll gain**: You'll be working with our largest Financial Institutions Partner and newest, high growth acquisition, where you'll have exposure up the line, to the most senior people within the organisation.
