**Interactive Resources Pty Ltd**, a Queensland-based labor hire agency, is looking for some domestic and in-home support workers to help elderly people in the North Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and Gympie areas. This is a casual position with regular, ongoing work.

- **Please note, this is an in-home care support, and you may be required to travel among multiple properties during your shift.**

Duties may include anything from providing personal care to assisting the client in accessing the community. Previous experience supporting people with disabilities or elderly people is preferable. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all the stakeholders. This is a Monday to Friday daytime support work. This will be the perfect fit for the people who are looking to do some set hours between Monday to Friday.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Certificate III or above in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care)
- National Police Check Clearance
- Working with Children Check (Known as Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Clearance Certificate or Yellow Card
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Experience in safe handling of food
- Experience in safe use of Medication
- Certificate of NDIS Orientation Module
- Covid Vaccine Certificate (Fully vaccinated)
- 2 x References
- Current QLD Driver’s License
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Experience in PEG feeding (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in Enema (Preferred but not mandatory)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Follow individual support plans, and health care plans.
- Maintain and monitor a client’s support plan whilst modelling a person-centred approach.
- Identify and support a range of learning opportunities for participants/residents.
- Observe and document an individual’s progress and any changes through detailed note-keeping

**Please note**:Due to the support needs of our clients, you must be available and willing to work a varied pattern of shifts across a Monday to Friday to be considered for these roles.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
