Burpengary, Australia Signature Support Care Full time

We are looking for kind, caring and confident female support workers to support a lovely young woman in Burpengary.

Shifts available are Monday to Thursday 2200-0700 active overnight shift. This would be ideal for 1 or 2 support workers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, bowel care management, catheter care, peg care, medication management and manual handling.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ wellbeing and social interaction.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviors, and any changes in their condition.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and needs in various settings, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience or life experience in a similar role.
- NDIS Workers Clearance
- Relevant insurances
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 27 per week

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Night shift

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- NDIS workers clearance (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
