Based in Armadale, Character Group (Character Cabinets & Stone with Character) is a locally owned business with over 25 years of experience in the West Australian housing and renovation scene, delivering kitchen designs and custom cabinets of superior quality to all of our clients.

We are currently seeking a digital marketing/PR manager to join our team to help achieve our ambitious online growth goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing online marketing strategies. In your role, you will collaborate with our team in all stages of digital marketing campaigns and help build our brand and improve customer interaction. Students and graduates are encouraged to apply.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Support a range of marketing and promotional activities in daily tasks and projects
- Design, develop and manage organic social media content (i.e blog posts, social media, website content)
- Developing marketing strategies and conducting market research to improve SEO
- Maintain website content for the 3 brands under Character Group (WordPress experience is helpful)
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook etc)
- Assist with internal and external communications as required
- Liaise with builders, clients and photographers for photos

**ABOUT YOU**:

- A passion for marketing/communications and a desire to work in a diverse role
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to continually learn and develop your skills
- Solid understanding of different marketing techniques (including digital marketing)
- Be a team player and have a 'can do' positive attitude
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of social media marketing best practices (Facebook & Instagram)
- Passionate about digital marketing and new trends that emerge in the digital space
- Be able to multi-task with great time-management skills
- High level of attention to detail, particularly in grammar and spelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently without supervision and in a team environment
- Basic SEO knowledge
- Photography knowledge is ideal but not required

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**: driver’s license
