Head of Operations

We are seeking a **Head of Operations**to lead our operations function, drive efficiency, and build a strong, engaged team that delivers exceptional outcomes for our clients and their investors.

**About the Role**

As the **Head of Operations**, you will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, financial performance, and governance across our operations teams. You will play a key role in strengthening our operational model, improving processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service offerings, manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. A key focus will be on developing the team, creating an inclusive and high-performing environment, and driving continuous improvement to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Leadership**
- Oversee the evolution of our service model, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and client needs.
- Contribute to the development and execution of operational plans that drive efficiency and business growth.
- Lead initiatives focused on automation, digitization, and continuous improvement.
- Build a positive and engaged workplace culture through targeted strategies that support employee development and performance.

**Operational Excellence & Service Delivery**
- Lead service delivery teams, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to service level agreements.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
- Implement quality assurance frameworks to mitigate risk, reduce incidents, and enhance service outcomes.
- Oversee external stakeholder relationships, including clients, auditors, and regulators.

**People & Team Leadership**
- Develop and support a growing team across onshore (Australia) and offshore (India) operations.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment, ensuring staff engagement and professional growth.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to managers, supporting succession planning and capability building.

**Governance & Risk Management**
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Strengthen risk management frameworks to safeguard financial and reputational integrity.Champion data privacy and security best practices in operational activities.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience in senior operational leadership, within financial services such as banking, superannuation, share registry, or a related sector.
- A strong track record in service delivery, governance, operational risk management and **operational transformation**.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing large and geographically dispersed teams, and drive performance in a complex environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in **budget management and cost optimization**.
- Expertise in **change management, workforce planning, and business process improvement**:

- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at senior levels.
- A strategic mindset, combined with the ability to execute and deliver tangible business outcomes.
- Experience leading change management initiatives, particularly around automation and digital transformation.
