**About the role at Cover Genius**
Workplace Experience Specialist, based in Sydney, will be responsible for delivering a magical and inspiring Employee Experience by providing workplace management support, including general office management duties, onboarding/offboarding tasks, purchasing of office/kitchen supplies and equipment, organizing and hosting team events, and other critical administrative duties. This person will liaise with a broad group of stakeholders, especially our APAC team. This role will be pivotal in promoting a meaningful employee experience to increase employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Culture and Engagement:_
- Coordinate employee events conferences and meetings in the Sydney office, and sometimes assist with other APAC meetings.
- Office & Facilities Management:_
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our SYD office including guests and contractors sign-in, management access system and control, ordering supplies and organize couriers, mail management and workplace maintenance
- Employee Onboarding / Offboarding:_
- Onboarding and induction for new SYD office employees and APAC starters, as well as own offboarding tasks associated with equipment, and ordering of merch and swag distribution.
- Work Health and Safety_
- WHS related matters including compliance with WHS policies and fire safety including injury and incident report
**Seniority**
**Mid Level** - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically within 2-5 years of experience.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Purchasing and Vendor Management - Manage suppliers by negotiating contracts, controlling costs, reducing risks, and ensuring business needs are met
- Facilities and Asset Management - Source and manage the tools, services, and processes that support the operations of the organization’s office and assets
