Opal Fibre Packaging is recruiting for a Despatch Administrator to join our team at Rocklea in Brisbane’s south. Reporting to the Despatch and Inventory Control Lead, you will contribute to the success of Opal by;
- Ensuring our #1 priority of Safety is always upheld and continually looking for, calling out and addressing opportunities to improve our safety performance
- Working collaboratively with other Despatch team members and site operations to ensure our DIFOT targets are met
- Identifying opportunities for continual improvement and optimisation of our stores & equipment for enhanced performance
- Overseeing the inventory control, and managing the cyclical stocktakes and pallet processes
- Ensuring a sense of pride in our product handling, quality, and presentation at all times
- Prepare delivery documentation for Despatch and Transport Teams
- Raising POs and processing and vetting invoices
- Approving waged staff hours for the department
