About this Role

You will be working in a high-level customer service environment, utilizing your attention to detail and previous experience in despatch planning, scheduling, and prioritisation.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning despatch to optimise service levels and customer satisfaction, without compromising our safety and quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Evaluate required fleet against delivery plan
  • Audit despatch of correct order to customer
  • Liaise with sales, warehouse, and transport providers to resolve urgent and critical customer requirements
  • Optimise driver and wait times with the goal of reducing yard wait time
  • Conduct load checks and audits of loads and load restraint
  • Verify compliance with all relevant health and safety policies, standards, procedures, and legislative requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all paperwork and administration duties in a timely manner

Requirements for this Position

  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Reliable, punctual, committed, and able to work independently
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Knowledge of the transport industry and understanding of load compliance
  • Customer service and relationship management mindset with strong negotiation skills
  • An agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, JDE/SAP, Sparks, desirable
