**The Position**

**St John of God Murdoch Hospital** has an excellent reputation, benefits from being located in the fastest growing area of Perth and is conveniently positioned next door to the State’s flagship Fiona Stanley Hospital.

- **Manager Patient Admissions** to lead our Patient Admissions Department.
- As
- ** Manager Patient Admissions**, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Patient Admissions & Accounts function, whilst ensuring a high quality of service delivery to our patients, doctors and visitors. This role works in close consultation with Finance.
- Experience or knowledge of the private health sector, in particular funding, will be highly regarded
- This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.

- Demonstrated leadership ability within the Health Care Industry or a service orientated organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in management of human and material resources in a medium to large environment, with appropriate coaching and mentoring skills to build effective teams.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Good conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Competent computer skills (patient management systems, Word, Excel etc).
- Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in the management and administration of budgets.
- An understanding of and commitment to quality improvement (desirable)
- Familiarity with process re-engineering and managing change (desirable)
