**Role Description**:
A vacant opportunity for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy and supportive team located in the Northern Beaches. My client is a well-established, Not-For-Profit organisation in a culture defined by empathy, unity, equality and authenticity. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will use your great communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills to coordinate and manage invoicing across a large portfolio of clients. You will assist clients with any funding queries or questions they may have and troubleshoot when required.
- Hands on capability, assisting with processing, matching, statement reconciliation, month-end accrual and assistance with cash flow forecasting.
- Review of payments and back up to running of payments, when required.
- Work with vendors and internal managers to coordinate efforts in resolving problems to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Ensure compliance with all reporting timelines.
- Able to identify areas to improve existing processes, as well as be able to engage staff to drive towards ‘best practice’ operations.
- Review inputs made by service coordinators and audit accuracy, maintaining schedules fir priority vendors and ensuring payments are made timely.
- Investigate questions, issues and other exception from vendors or customers and internal personnel.
- Assist with training meetings with other divisions and proactively contribute to increasing process efficiency.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- 3+ years in an Accounts Payable l role will be highly regarded.
- A real passion for customer service and a willingness to develop an understanding of the issues that impact our customers.
- The ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently and agility to meet demands of an evolving business environment.
