MarketLife Pty Ltd is looking for a highly organized, dynamic, and motivated Event and Business Coordinator to join our team and manage our diverse portfolio of events and brands, including Perth Makers Market and Perth Upmarket, plus pop-up event coordination for clients including East Fremantle’s George St Festival and Applecross Rotary’s Jacaranda Festival.

**Position Overview**:
As the Event and Business Coordinator, you will be responsible for running of events and day-to-day office activities. This full-time role (37.5 hrs/week) typically during regular business hours, but also includes essential weekend work during event preparation and event days. Reporting directly to the Director, you will coordinate the office team and oversee all aspects of event management and business operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process
- Oversee event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes
- Manage event logistics, including stall allocations, bump in/out scheduling, and event day run sheets
- Ensure compliance with all necessary permits, licenses, and regulations for events
- Develop and maintain event feedback surveys for internal and external use
- Manage staff during events, including training and performance management
- Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
- Represent the company in events, conferences, etc.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn other tools and software as required
- Enthusiasm for supporting local businesses and fostering creative communities
- Interest in working with creative small businesses and market events
- Desirable (but not essential):_
- Prior experience in event coordination, project management, or related fields
- Familiarity with softwares such as Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign, Wordpress, Wix, Canva, and project management software

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
