We are seeking a dynamic Retail Pricing Manager based in Crestmead, Queensland on a 12 Month FTC to be a leader in the Retail Pricing team and a key member of the State team. This role is responsible for implementing national and state pricing programs. You champion the independent retailer to grow sales which support the Food Group strategies and are suitably tailored to deliver local and regional opportunities. This role can be completed from anystate (doesn't have to be based in Queenslad office).

What you’ll do

A leadership role in the Retail Pricing Team

The role has the State Retail Pricing Coordinator as a direct report

Play an important part in state execution of strategies and projects

Supports National Retail Pricing Manager

Proactively support future or potential systems or strategies and collaboratively develop plans for implementation

Provide forward looking guidance to Trading, Operations, Channel and State teams focusing on Improved retail pricing performance including:
Retail and Wholesale retail profitability performance GP$.

Performance of various retail pricing mechanics; IE Price Match and shelf price programs

Retail Pricing channel guardrail support

Collectively support the customer and State team as required

What you’ll be

Strong communication and influencing skills that build partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders

Broad understanding of category management principles and process including promotional mechanics and pricing

A collaborative style that supports teams and colleagues.

Strong commercial acumen with a good knowledge of pricing execution, forecasting and planning

Understanding of the Independent Retailer network and shoppers

Able to manage time in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy & attention to detail
