In this role your responsibilities that include liaising with members, clients, solicitors, the trustee, and assessors, whilst conducting claim duties. Claims duties will include, complex complaint handling, collation of claim documents and assessing condition of early releases under trustee delegation.

**We will count on you to**:
- Liaise with the Team Manager and stakeholders to provide any relevant information to ensure the successful and efficient ongoing operation of the claim’s unit.
- Accept full responsibility for the day-to-day management and updating of a claims portfolio and ensure an accurate record of the claims status is maintained.
- Liaise with clients and claimants to ensure appropriate, timely and cost-effective resolution of liability claims
- Make recommendations to clients and trustee inline with Legislation
- Ensure that any file that exceeds the client’s insurance excess is referred to the relevant insurer and update claims database appropriately
- Ensure regular communication with clients regarding progress of claims and to ascertain the client’s satisfaction with the way their claims are being managed.
- Participate in regular meetings of claims unit staff to assist in identifying possible streamlining/improvements to existing claims procedures.
- Assist in delivering approved training programmes to client staff as requested
- Ensure timeframes and compliance measures are adhered to in line with legislation and company policy
- Meet and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best practice outcomes
- Strong verbal and written skills

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Support management with on-going team objectives guidance.
**Educational Requirements (Desirable)**
- Diploma Financial Services or bachelor’s degree.
- Studying towards Graduate Diploma Financial Services.
- Undertake Company-directed compliance training.
