To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Production Optimisation Manager to join our team.
**The Role**
**Reporting to the Technical Director**, the purpose of the Production Optimisation Manager position is to provide leadership and direction of the Production Optimisation team, develop strategy, processes and internal capability of the team. Safely and continuously improve production through optimisation of producing wells, gathering, facilities and work over planning.
This role will also provide solutions for operational problems to support Operations to operate and maintain assets safely and effectively. This will involve heavy integration with multipi-discinplinary stakeholders (reservoir engineering and discipline engineering teams) to identify and resolve technical issues in order to de-bottleneck production.
This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
**In addition you will**:
- Manage the workloads and priorities for the Production Optimisation team to ensure strong support to Operations and align with asset goals and priorities.
- Develop short term production forecasts based on the input from reservoir engineers and monitor component and integrated production system performance.
- Develop and optimise workover plan in line with overall Operation strategic direction and priorities.
- Provide solutions for operational problems (short term) to ensure high reliability and availability of assets.
- Lead the optimisation of existing wells and facilities (incl. choke model & gathering model) through provision of production technology, production surveillance and process engineering support to meet production targets and ensure individual well potential is maximised.
**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, chemical, or a related engineering field
- Extensive experience managing a multi-disciplinary team.
- Skilled usage of industry standard petroleum engineering software.
- Petroleum engineering knowledge in field development planning, well performance optimisations, reservoir management studies, well completions and interventions, hydraulic network simulation and nodal analysis.
- Understanding of project economics and business planning processes and experience with hydrocarbon accounting desirable.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
