**About this Opportunity**

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role will be responsible for managing fill and packaging activities to ensure compliance to quality, cost, customer requirements and specifications while maintaining a safe work environment.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Lead, coach, and empower a diverse team, cultivating a supportive and inclusive work environment. Ensure coaching, feedback, and training is provided to enhance individual and team performance. Promote a culture of safety first, accountability, recognition, proactive problem solving and continuous learning.
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork across other departments including processing, maintenance, quality and logistics.
- Optimise filling and packaging of products in terms of quantity, quality and deadlines.
- Work with key stakeholders and departments to reduce costs and optimise operating budgets.

**About you**:

- Ability to lead, coach, develop and manage teams and improve engagement
- Ability to resolve conflict and drive change
- Knowledge of Agri-food or FMCG industry
- Understanding of production management, organisation and planning, and problem solving methods
- Good financial acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree qualification in management preferred
- Certificate IV in Food Processing preferred
