National Disability Care (NDC) is currently seeking a **female support worker** with strong cultural alignment to provide after-school and community-based support to a young NDIS participant in the Cherrybrook, NSW area.

**Applicants of Aus-Asian background are strongly encouraged to apply**, as cultural alignment is a key consideration for this role and has been identified as important by the participant’s family.

This is a locally-based role requiring consistency, maturity, excellent communication, and a genuine interest in working with children with disability and behavioural support needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide after-school and weekend support within the home and in the community
- Encourage social skill development and meaningful community participation
- Follow behaviour support strategies and maintain participant safety
- Complete clear shift notes and communicate effectively with our broader national team

**Essential Criteria**:

- Female support worker (required for participant matching)
- **Aus-Asian background or strong cultural alignment preferred**:

- Experience working with children with disability and behavioural needs (ASD/ADHD)
- Must live in or very near Cherrybrook - **local applicants only**:

- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module certificate
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle with insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Excellent communication and reliability

Pay: From $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 5 per week
