YMCA Queensland is seeking a Business Partner that is adaptable and creative to join our People and Culture team based at head office in Fortitude Valley.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the People and Culture Business Partner you will ensure that your advice, solutions and services align strategic objectives with people-focused solutions. You will provide essential partnering support across the full employee cycle, lending valuable guidance across a broad range of generalist issues under various awards.

Reporting to a dynamic and energised People and Culture Operations Lead, our team is renowned for its high-performance standards and unwavering support for one another. You day will be busy with the below and so much more:

- Partnering with your designated leaders providing HR solution and best practice advice on a broad range of generalist HR activities and ER matters.
- Leading complex HR workplace investigations, performance improvement and disciplinary processes with effective documentation and communications
- Providing support and leading HR projects
- Work with the leadership team to drive and develop culture across the organisation
- Supporting the People and Culture Operations Lead with the review and development of HR services, policies, workflow maps, processes and procedures to enhance HR operational functions across the organisation

**ABOUT YOU**

You are dynamic and adaptable professional who possesses a unique blend of strategic thinking, empathy and creativity. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
- 5 years’ experience as a HR Business Partner with experience in change focused organisations
- Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and awards
- High level of experience in case management and conducting complex investigations
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
- Currently possess, or be willing to obtain a positive notice Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000
