The business began its journey in 2012 to become the partner of choice for American sports apparel brands for Australia & New Zealand. They have developed a strong association with globally iconic leagues including NBA, MLB and NFL.

Their goal is to be the number one partner of choice within Australia and New Zealand, for all American and domestic sports licensing apparel and headwear both on and off the field.

The Key Account Sales is responsible for driving product sales. The role will work with key accounts to create strategic account plans which will drive the business expectations for long-term, sustainable financial growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Building a strategic account plan in unison with the account and internal departments
- Sell in product assortments with the support of Product & Marketing departments
- Provide weekly analysis updates to the account on live business results
- Provide sales feedback to buyers and key personnel within the key account's business to assist in making decisions that impact sell-through targets
- Analyse future order books to ensure the account meets strategic account sell-through targets
- Drive accurate inventory forecasting with all key accounts
- Provide projections on key account/s to the Head of Sales
- Communicate back to business ROI (return of investment) on all initiatives implemented e.g., marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales.
- Work with the product team on assortment planning suggestions that support the category the key account is positioned within
- Provide consumer/ sales feedback on accounts to Product Line Managers to assist post seasonal analysis reporting
- Participate in pre-line meetings with accounts and prepare reporting collateral from past season sales to support working meetings

**Skills**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role or 5+ years Retail management experience
- Demonstrated and successful experience in Key Account management
- Experience in FMCG sales (focus on apparel channel)
- Strong Key Account management skills
- The ability to drive, connect and manage cross-functional relationships
- Intermediate IT literacy
- American and Domestic Sport knowledge (desired)
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
