**About the Opportunities**

The Delivery Lead role is central to the running of a squad to set them up for success in prioritising, planning and executing on transformation initiatives using Scrum or Kanban frameworks. They enable the squad through removing any impediments while facilitating transparency of all the work, progress of sprint goals and capacity to interested stakeholders as well as to the squad themselves. The role is also responsible for ensuring the squad adheres to agile methodologies and principles and involves organising and facilitating agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, backlog refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- This role will operate at an operational and strategic level to:

- Deliver the roadmap using agile methodology in partnership with business stakeholders
- Partner with your product manager and our chapter leads to build and develop a cross functional squad
- Work closely with external teams to plan dependencies and releases of the product
- Deliver products to customers to improve their experience across digital channels they interact with

**A day in the life of a Delivery Lead at endeavourX**
- Ensuring that scrum ceremonies are executed and facilitated (Sprint planning, standups, sizing, retros etc)
- Application of the agile and scrum values and principles in day-to-day routine
- Ensuring full participation of all squad members in the delivery of value
- Application and facilitation of the Continuous Improvement practices and team mindset
- Responsibility for removing squad blockers with support from the Product Manager or management if needed to ensure planned sprints are delivered as expected.
- Coach the team to be empowered and instill a proactive, positive and innovative team culture
- Work closely with Product Manager on prioritization of the squad backlog to maximize value delivered
- Ensures that the squad has engaged with business stakeholders (internal customers) insights and feedback during the delivery of their work. A clear link between insights and action development should be visible.
- Works with other product managers to ensure that their squad backlog is prioritized appropriately to meet cross-team dependencies.
- Works closely with the squad to remove impediments and “roadblocks” for the squad.
- Decides whether the work the squad has delivered is ready for release, works with the squad to define criteria for work to be released and is accountable for the quality of the squad’s released work.
- Where necessary, support vendor selections as part of the decision to build or buy product solutions.
- Metric tracking and analysis

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- 10+ years’ experience working in a retail business or similar environment
- Experience working with commercial partners in a complex, matrix organization
- Experience working in an agile organization or with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Develops teams that set and deliver to high standards, drive innovation and create value autonomously, while living our culture and values.
- Strong ability to prioritize, balancing delivery in the short-term while supporting the overall strategy
- Experience in managing complex dependencies and releases
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodology, disciplines and procedures, and ability, to help / guide others on the processes
- Extensive Experience in Agile delivery - managing product backlogs, prioritizing requests, writing user stories, sprint planning, iterations, retros, stand-ups
- Eye for detail, and ability to quickly understand requirements and help the team articulate correctly to form the basis for the sprint planning with focus on delivering a quality outcome
- Experience working and using Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, DevOps)
- A degree of flexibility will be required in this role as we build and maintain the roadmap.
- Experience working with software vendors
- Experience with digital initiatives or within an e-commerce environment would also be highly desirable
