**What you’ll do
- Technically lead a squad responsible for supporting the delivery and operation of apps and microservices at scale.
- Leverage your thought-leadership and industry best practices and technology approaches to ensure the highest levels of performance, stability, security and reusability of apps and services.
- Uplift the Engineer Experience, establishing the appropriate frameworks, tooling and processes to ensure efficient delivery.
- Partner closely with the Product Manager, Heads of Technology and Technical Leads to identify and prioritise key areas of focus and establish a technical roadmap.
- Lead the technical delivery of the squad, from designing and deploying solutions to ensuring correct operational.
- Identify talent, assist in recruiting and onboarding new engineers and build strong teams.

**What you’ll bring
- Strong, demonstrable technical leadership experience.
- Strong experience in modern engineering practices and disciplines.
- Technical skills:.Net/Javascript/Typescript/ programming languages, Azure/GCP/AWS cloud (Azure preferred), microservice architectures, GraphQL, Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Ability to question decisions and challenge the status quo.
- Good understanding of Agile & Lean leadership and delivery principles.
