**Casual Waiter - Aalia Wine Bar (ESCA Group)**

Aalia Wine Bar is a beautiful extension of Aalia’s premium food and beverage offering. Drawing on Aalia Restaurant’s accolades—two hats and 3 Goblets—the wine bar will hold the integrity of Aalia while offering an intimate, high-energy experience. You’ll work alongside a team of highly skilled, experienced sommeliers and FOH professionals. This is a great opportunity to be part of something special from day one.

**What you’ll do**:

- Deliver polished, guest-first table service: greet, guide, take orders, and manage sections with pace.
- Present and run dishes, coordinate timing with pass/kitchen, and maintain immaculate tables.
- Support beverage service (wine by the glass/bottle, basic decanting, correct glassware & temps).
- Upsell thoughtfully across food, wine, and cocktails.
- Maintain setup, restocking, glassware care, and end-of-shift resets to a fine-dining standard.
- Contribute to tastings, seasonal updates, and wine bar activations and events.

**What you bring**:

- Strong floor experience in quality restaurants or wine bars; fine-dining exposure highly regarded.
- Confident guest communication, attention to detail, and composure in a refined, high-volume setting.
- Current NSW RSA and Australian work rights — required.
- Wine/cocktail literacy (WSET Level 2 or equivalent knowledge a plus, not essential).
- Team-first mindset, reliability, and a drive to keep learning.
