**Restaurant Hubert is searching for an accomplished section waiter to join our highly skilled team. Restaurant Hubert is one of downtown Sydney’s busiest and most loved venues. We offer classic French cuisine, an extensive international wine list and showcase some of the city’s finest live jazz music.**

Our focus is on our guests. We guarantee friendly service, a high-quality product, beautiful atmosphere and overall, a magical experience. We are looking for waiters with an in-depth knowledge of food and wine, who understand how to run a seamless service and have a genuine passion for giving devoted hospitality.

As a member of the larger Swillhouse family (Alberto's Lounge, The Baxter Inn, Frankie's Pizza and Shady Pines Saloon) you will have access to frequent industry leading training, opportunities for career progression and a pool of talented hospitality professionals to guide you to success.

Your key duties and responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

- Greeting guests as they arrive and escorting them to their table.
- Presenting the menu and describing the dishes and specials of the day.
- Taking orders and relaying them accurately to the kitchen.
- Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Checking in with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meal and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Offering suggestions for wine pairings or other beverages to complement the meal.
- Clearing plates and cutlery between courses and resetting the table for the next course.
- Managing multiple tables at once and ensuring that each guest receives attentive and personalised service.
- Processing payment for meals and handling cash or credit card transactions.
- Collaborating with other members of the waitstaff and the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Qualifications/Experience required:

- Minimum three years experience overseeing a busy restaurant section in a fast paced venue of excellent standards
- In depth knowledge of restaurant sequence of service
- Excellent food and wine knowledge, along with strong foundations in understanding cooking technique and provenance of ingredients

We are offering a competitive salary of $70,000 plus superannuation, weekly tips along with one of the best employee benefits packages available in the industry.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience working a restaurant section in a similar style venue.
