**About the Role**:
Reporting to the ANZ General Manager - Meals & Beverage, the National Account Manager Independents will play a key role in delivering business plans with major Independent customers and buying groups. We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to manage key accounts, drive joint business planning, seasonal activations, promotional optimisation, and growth initiatives across the independent retail network.

**What your days looks like**:

- Lead category strategy execution and annual reviews within the independents channel
- Own national sales performance and P&L, ensuring alignment with growth and trade targets
- Build strategic customer relationships and lead activation informed by market insights
- Implement promotional and trade marketing plans in collaboration with internal teams
- Partner with supply, ops, and stakeholders to optimise availability, reporting, and forecasts

**The Ingredients for Success**:

- Senior business management experience, preferably in the independents channel
- Strong commercial acumen with proven FMCG growth results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and market insight expertise
- Experience with retail/category management and business software like Telus or Blue Yonder
