**About the Role**:
In this exciting role, you will be at the heart of shaping the workforce strategy for our Communities Directorate, helping drive the future of our services across aged care, disability, mental health, child and family, and community services. You’ll lead the design and implementation of strategic workforce planning initiatives that directly contribute to the success and growth of our mission.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a robust workforce planning framework aligned with the strategic direction of the Communities Directorate.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure that workforce needs are met, both now and for the next 3-5 years.
- Work alongside the Volunteer Lead to integrate volunteer & student placement-based workforce strategies, driving growth and engagement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on internal and external workforce trends to ensure our teams are equipped for success.
- Cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and safe working environment that champions diversity, values every individual, and fosters a culture of belonging.

**About You**:
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for transforming communities. With over 8 years of experience in workforce planning, you have successfully implemented organisational-wide initiatives and have a deep understanding of workforce trends and the impact they have on service delivery. You are a natural collaborator, able to forge relationships across teams and guide them toward common goals, all while maintaining a focus on the people we serve.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- A proven track record in workforce planning, strategic development, and influence.
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and program management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse workforce data and make strategic recommendations to drive change.
