This newly created & specialist role of WorkForce Modeller is reporting into a Group Manager Shared Services and will be responsible for taking a leadership role in the development, maintenance and updating of workforce scenario modelling and insights that will inform the strategic resource planning of Allianz General Insurance Claims business.
The role visualises various potential business objectives and presents workforce modelling options to meet those objectives to enable improved insights and informed decision making on medium-term and short-term business recruitment strategy. This is a greenfield role with the opportunity to build from the ground up. We require expertise in workforce planning to turn business plans into workforce modelling scenarios
**Responsibilities in the role**:
- Develop, investigate, and analyse scenario options for future strategies, developing modelling within a structured framework to defined lead times and standards
- Utilise resource management software and scenario modelling tools to construct robust options and analysis, taking key priorities and risks into account
- Undertake scenario modelling initiatives including initial scoping, analysis of associated impacts, identification of cost implications taking business requirements, including but not limited to offshore/onshore capacity and taking evolving business objectives into account.
- Utilise workforce management software and work with our data team to construct efficient workforce scenarios; drive and support the continued development of more efficient modelling practices
- Assist with project implementation of key workforce modelling insights including identifying resourcing solutions including offshore and onshore numbers and managing ramping up numbers due to cyclical cat events.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement of rostering process through data analyses and reporting insights to Workforce Planning Manager.
- Establish key relationships and work closely with the leadership team, understand key activities and translate them into workforce forecasts presenting the impacts of these activities in a standardised manner. Develop targeted analysis of current service provisions and performance ensuring that suggestions for process improvement linked to optimised scheduling and planning.
- Provide a high level of advice and support on all workforce forecasting, modelling and planning matters. Create integrated database tracking tools for staffing shrinkage patterns to optimise resourcing forecasts.
**Important to your success**:
- You’ll have experience working with complex data sets and analysis tools
- Prior experience in advising on workforce forecasting, using data visualisation tools & dashboards to communicate results to stakeholders
- Comprehensive understanding of workforce planning management methodologies, systems and processes, and telephony technologies.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Expert stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated experience in the provision of expert advice and guidance and the development of business-focussed solutions.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
