In this exciting role you will be working on OneSky Project. The OneSky Project will establish, commission and support a Civil Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS and revolutionise existing Air Traffic Management technology. A true once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a unified solution for the future Air Traffic Management needs. This high-profile project has the world watching in excited anticipation to see its success. In this exciting opportunity, you will be instrumental in managing key supplier contracts within the OneSky project end-to-end. You will ensure that the suppliers provide the competitiveness required to support the business and enable optimal supply base changes to support the business winning capability. **Responsibilities**: - Manage supplier contracts end-to-end and work closely with the technical and programme management teams to ensure that requirements are executed in accordance with the technical, program, cost and performance requirements - Ensure the key supplier’s contract coverage is suitable and incorporates the proper flow down - Manage and resolve supplier’s claims and disputes - Identify, monitor and implement contractual changes and manage commercial implications of changes in particularly around scope and contractual claims - Manage risks/ opportunities/ issues and disputes - Ensure alignment with the global procurement strategy to benefit from the holistic procurement category environment - Monitor sub-contract cost, quality and schedule against contract requirements - Deliver on reporting and documentation requirements **As the key suppliers targeted for this role are located in Europe, this role could be located either within the project team in Melbourne or in Europe at a convenient Thales location.** **Requirements**: - A tertiary qualification and/ or significant experience as a commercial or contracts manager - Must have 10+ years procurement experience or equivalent preferably in the aviation or defence sectors - Must have contract management experience of major contracts, value >$10M with high complexity and risk - Pre and Post Contract Management credentials - Claim Management - Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment - Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with senior management, stakeholders and partners - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Superior analytical and problem-solving skills - Strongly focused and self-motivated to overachieve goal - High energy, driven to innovate, and a team player **As part of our commitment, we offer**: - Salary packaging includes healthcare and bonus payments - Relocation and visa-sponsorship options - Leading leave policies - Growth and Development opportunities - Study Assistance - Employee discounts - Gym Membership (Fitness passport) - ThalesFlex - flexibility working is our everyday - Family Support through our partnership with Parents at Work - Flexibility to travel when required Wellbeing matters at Thales, and where possible we encourage flexible working.
