In Australia’s harsh environment, our network allows Australia’s public national broadcasters to maintain connection with Australians through floods, bushfires, cyclones and other natural disasters.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Provide Property and Site Development Services for BAI, negotiate and secure access to new or existing properties and facilities in a cost efficient and timely manner to ensure we fulfil our commitments to customers and our business plan. This is an initial 6-month contract as a new role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a high level of service to other business units in relation to property-related inquiries.
- Manage commercial leases and / or licenses including negotiating
- Review the need for landlord and regulatory approvals to determine the regulatory and environmental appropriateness of works proposals and what consents are required
- Provide input to bids/design & costings;
- Manage Property financial management functions processing and reconciliation of rental, rates and land tax payments and other outgoings
- Maintain communications with other work areas to report progress and advise of any issues which may affect them;
- Maintain an accurate and current database of leases and key property and landlord information
- Manage the development of relevant agreements, procedures, reports and related documents.

**ABOUT YOU**

Finance Administration: Ability to work independently in processing of property related invoices, undertaking data analysis and reconciliations.

Administration: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrable ability in operating database software solutions.

Communication: An ability to present information verbally and in writing to appropriately address the audience and to concisely articulate the ‘how and why’ a conclusion has been reached.

Customer focused: Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers

Perseverance: Pursues everything with energy, drive and a need to finish; seldom gives up before finishing, especially in the face of resistance or setbacks

Tertiary qualification in Property, Valuation, Land Economics, Town Planning or related fields is preferred but not essential.
