UFS is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Financial Services Manager to lead our Finance team in delivering on our new strategy of optimisation and growth.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for financial analysis and reporting across the business, in addition to the management of finance administration staff in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will be a senior member of the Finance team and as such will be expected to pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and foster a collaborative and effective working culture. You will also be a key resource, working with them towards achieving the organisational, departmental, strategic and operational plans.

You will be specifically accountable for KPIs related to:

- Management reports delivered on time
- Budgets delivered on time
- Projects delivered on budget

**Mandatory requirements**
- Exposure to or understanding of operating effective and efficient financial management systems and processes.
- Previous experience in an accounting environment is essential, including payroll operations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and inspiring a team to success in a changing environment.
- Proven ability to anticipate difficulties, resolve problems and make sound decisions.
- Ability to contribute ideas, demonstrate initiative and manage change.
- Demonstrated ability to understand internal control practices and operate within those guidelines.
- Demonstrated skill in working with complex analytical models
- Advanced excel skills essential.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High level of numerical and analytical skills.
- Previous experience with MYOB Advanced reporting would be an advantage.

Experience in health related or retail sectors is preferrable.
