Mulcahy & Co as part of the Mulcahy group provide Accounting, Financial Planning, Legal, Lending and Marketing services to a large client base. With offices located in Ballarat, Ararat, Mildura and the Sunshine Coast.



With continued growth in our Financial Planning division our Ballarat office is seeking a qualified, motivated Financial Planner to join our team. Our business offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious self-starter to continue to develop their career and help grow the business in the Ballarat region.

**Duties will include**:

- Help grow and develop the Financial Planning division.
- Provision of comprehensive Financial Planning advice to clients encompassing strategies such as Investments, Superannuation, Transitions to Retirement strategies, Centrelink Planning, Cash Flows, SMSF's, Aged Care and Risk.
- Build and strengthen staff relationships to obtain internal client referrals from other divisions.
- Source external referrals from personal networks.
- Meet monthly budgets and key performance indicators.
- Client focused and have a willingness to help and support our existing and new clients in achieving their goals and objectives.
- Committed to ethical and compliant dealings with clients.
- Have a good understanding of the current legislative and technical framework in relation to investments, taxation, superannuation, and risk insurance.
- Enjoy working autonomously as well as within our talented team.

**To be successful in the role you will need**:

- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Financial Planner.
- Must meet the FASEA education requirements.
- Highest level of ethics and positive compliance checks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to drive and develop internal and external relationships.
