The successful applicant will represent our practice in the important role as first point of contact for our patients, working alongside our other experienced and supportive receptionists to ensure the smooth running of the reception and the facilities of the practice.

We are focussed on providing high quality medical care to our patients.

Essential Criteria:

- Must have experience as a medical receptionist
- A high standard of presentation
- Enjoys being at the frontline
- Ability to maintain a strict level of patient confidentiality
- Ability to work both autonomously and with others as part of a team
- Ability to multitask under pressure and maintain attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a warm and inviting phone manner
- Fluent in written and spoken English language
- Excellent computer skills
- Prior experience with Best Practice and or Medilink or similar medical billing software
- Experience with EFTPOS and Medicare billing procedures

Responsibilities include:

- General reception duties
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Booking appointments
- Answering phones
- Prioritising care
- Billing including online claiming
- Daily banking reconciliation
- Online stock ordering
- Scanning
- Housekeeping
- Ensuring patient comforts are met in the waiting room
- Ensuring waiting room and other facilities of the practice are neat and tidy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $20.33 - $35.31 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Liverpool, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
