**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join our leadership team in the Western Sydney Australia.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Providing daily leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers.
- Overseeing participant wellbeing by ensuring consistent support for daily routines, medication, appointments, and personal goals—all accurately documented.
- Leading and supervising in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment to support participant success.
- Managing team resources, prioritising tasks, and balancing caseloads to meet performance targets.
- Strengthening team capability through regular coaching, constructive feedback, and professional development planning.
- Supporting staff through organisational change and periods of uncertainty.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, government policies, and internal guidelines.
- Coordinating household operations including meal planning, hygiene standards, safety protocols, and documentation oversight.
- Advocating for participants’ best interests during family contact and across their support networks.
- Working closely with health professionals, guardians, and case managers to address participants’ health and behavioural needs.
- Leading team meetings, supervising staff, and fostering a culture of reflective practice.
- Conducting risk assessments, ensuring Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance, and managing incident reporting processes.
- Monitoring household budgets and collaborating with the Program Manager to manage financial tasks such as reimbursements, receipts, and approvals.
- Leading with authenticity, consistently promoting and modelling PDAACS’s core values in every interaction.

**About You**
- Experience in a senior or leadership role within disability, youth, or NDIS sectors
- Solid understanding of Supported Independent Living, Community Access, and participant goal planning under the NDIS
- Warm, reliable, and strengths-focused leadership style
- Resilient, organised, and emotionally intelligent - able to manage competing priorities with calm and care
- Proficient in documentation, report writing, and staff communication systems (Teams, shift reports, compliance tools)
- Enthusiastic about growing team capability and improving service delivery

**Essential Criteria**
- Cert IV or higher in Disability, Community Services, or related field
- Demonstrated experience supporting NDIS participants, ideally in SIL settings
- Current Working With Children Check (NSW), National Police Check, and First Aid/CPR
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to manage and nurture key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A current Working with Children Check
- A current NDIS Screening Worker Check
- A current police check conducted within 6 months
- A valid Australian drivers licence with a reliable and comprehensively insured car

Pay: $68,536.61 - $123,893.52 per year
