You will be a vital contributor to our inspiring and bold mission as Business Insights Lead at Takeda Oceania. You will be responsible for providing the insights, strategy & governance framework that support the commercial, medical and functional teams in operational excellence. They will lead the local commercial and medical customer-facing excellence strategy, implementation and accountability in line with regional expectations, whilst innovating for local market conditions and opportunities. In addition, they will play a pivotal role in guiding the Oceania Leadership Team's (LT's) enterprise strategy and decision making.

**A typical day will involve**:

- Cross-functional team collaboration and providing strategic insights and measurements to the organisation with regard to pipeline, product lifecycle, resourcing, capabilities and priorities.
- Championing launch excellence planning, and ensuring that Oceania launches are completed in alignment with regional expectations.
- Driving enhancements to customer-facing excellence governance. This includes CFE programs, processes and KPI’s for commercial and medical field teams.
- Leading the Business Insights team to: provide excellent business partnering with commercial and non-commercial teams; provide accurate forecasting in collaboration with finance and commercial partner; develop insights and analytics capabilities across the organisation; action ad-hoc project or regular work requests for the organisation.
- Supporting and leading the implementation and governance of the systems and processes that the Business Insights Team are accountable for, which include: CRM system (VEEVA); PowerBI Dashboards; Sales Incentive Plans; investigation and sourcing of data.
- Working, leading and liaising cross-functionally at a local and regional level on strategy, insights and KPI’s.
- Acting as a consultant and partner to the Head of Business Operations on local and regional project management and implementation.

**Education & Experience**:

- Five or more years experience in pharmaceutical business operations, marketing or commercial excellence, market research, forecasting, and/or sales analytics, gained in either a pharmaceutical company (at corporate / local headquarters) or in a mature consultancy/agency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge experience is preferred
- Understanding of, and experience working with, multiple areas / functions within pharmaceutical companies, including Supply Chain, Data & Digital, Finance, Launch Excellence.
- Knowledge of in-field operations within pharmaceutical companies.
- Understanding and experience using common digital platforms, including CRM and PowerBI.

**Key Skills, Abilities & Competencies**
- Strong quantitative skills and expertise with quantitative data sources (e.g., IQVIA).
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Ability to logically follow and troubleshoot multiple systems.
- Experience in leading projects from start to finish across multiple facets of an organisation.
- Ability to communicate efficiently between IT and commercial operating spaces.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate detailed analyses to senior employees (directors) and influence stakeholders of all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical business operations, including product launch and life cycle management, as well as sales force operations.
