**Role Overview**

Unloan is seeking a business savvy leader to define how we use data to measure performance, discover opportunities and make business decisions.

You will provide your own vision and direction for the insights suite that our executive team relies on to shape the business, product and operating model by drawing from your strong business acumen (with banking/lending combined with your instinctive knowledge of how best to turn data into actionable insights.

In addition to leading your own team of business focused insights analysts, you will enjoy the luxury of being supported by a dedicated data engineering team to manage technical concerns including platform management, security, data sourcing, warehousing and modelling.

**Power BI **is our established reporting platform, and you will arrive armed with sound practical skills in the platform along with sound knowledge of its capabilities and limitations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Being a strategic partner to the ELT and key stakeholders**
- Be a partner rather than a service provider by providing ideas on what to measure, how to measure it, how to visualise it and how to interpret it
- Build relationships and credibility with the Unloan ELT and key stakeholders by providing accurate and timely insights that fuel decision making by addressing their goals, measures of success and pain points
- Expertly communicate and synthesise a clear data story to Unloan, synthesising Unloan's metrics and drawing out critical insights to guide the business
- Coach and mentor business stakeholders on how to maximise the value of our insights suite and our data

**Defining the insights vision and roadmap**
- Conceptualise and plan for delivery of a comprehensive set of reports, dashboards and scorecards that effectively communicate key metrics and insights addressing goals and performance of the business, product and operations
- Keep up to date with the latest innovations in BI reporting and continuously improve on how we leverage data to produce insight. Microsoft Co-pilot and other AI technologies will be constantly on your radar
- Collaborate with our data engineering team to identify and deliver self-service options for insights and reporting

**Leading the insights team and product**
- Craft the insights development roadmap, prioritise and pivot based on the ever - changing needs of the business
- Coach and mentor your team of business insights analysts on producing business focused designs and specifications for meaningful insights and on delivering them efficiently
- Managing blockers, dependencies, capacity constraints and the routine challenges that come with delivering business value at pace
- Manage stakeholder expectations based on a strong understanding of delivery effort and the challenges noted above
- Continuously monitor and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the reporting suite

**Experience**
- E xperience leading and coaching teams - helping the team set and deliver on clear priorities
- An excellent communicator that can articulate complex analytical concepts and recommend compelling solutions
- An ability to form trusted relationships with leaders, being seen as a partner of choice on key strategic and business decisions
- Advanced Excel and Power BI (including DAX) capabilities essential
- Understanding of and experience in SQL
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is desirable
- Experience in and knowledge of banking /lending business is desirable
