Our Federal Government client is seeking an
**Executive Officer** who can commence ASAP
**About the role**:
- Liaise with various stakeholders of all levels including various other Assistant Secretary Offices nationally, the First Assistant Secretary’s Office and Minister’s Office as required
- Secretariat support including executive level meetings including minute taking, agenda and diary management
- Exercise sound professional judgement and use a common-sense approach when dealing with issues as they arise
- Work without direct in-office supervision on a daily basis and achieve required outcomes in a timely manner
- Maintain a strong work ethic with the ability to set and deliver on priorities
**Ideally you will have**:
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to new challenges while remaining calm and composed
- A comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work in a high-pressure operational environment facing multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Significant experience as an Executive Officer to a Senior Executive Officer within government or equivalent
