**Your new role**
Executive Officer | EL2 ($730- $750 / day + Super) | Richmond / Hybrid

You will be tasked with:

- The EL2 Executive Officer is responsible for initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including representing and negotiating on behalf of the agency.
- The EL2 Executive Officer is responsible for providing project management, support services and strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and their group.
- Coordination and analysis of correspondence, reports, risk and program documentation and briefings, and providing support on strategic projects and executive led procurement or recruitment.
- Directing enquiries and requests from the CEO, Board and other channels to appropriate areas and providing advice to the ELT on responses.
- Drafting papers for internal governance committees, the CEO, Minister, the Board, and others.
- Providing reporting to the Board, Sub-Committees and to the Executive Management Group via papers sponsored by the ELT.
- Facilitating the provision of advice from the ELT to others within the Agency, and assisting with the passage of documents for clearance.
- Ensuring items for clearance are submitted on time, and process and compliance standards across key functional areas are met.
- Overseeing and managing the ELT executive budget, procurements and recruitment exercises.
- Overseeing Agency governance matters including QTBs, Senate Estimates Briefs and Ministerial correspondence.

- Possess strong analytical and communication skills
- High level of interpersonal and stakeholder management skills as well as the capacity to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the agency
- Ability to Identify and understand problems and opportunities by gathering, analysing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information.
- Ability to Identify the need to change, describes the reasons for the change and the risks of not changing
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex problems and develop solutions, including using own initiative and being solutions focussed.
- Organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving results through taking responsibility for their own work tasks and working as a cooperative member of a team.
