**The Role**
Land Command, Control, Communications & Computer Systems (LC4S) Branch (LC4SB) is seeking highly motivated and skilled Configuration Management professionals to provide specialist advice and support to LC4S Branch Acquisition, Sustainment and Integration and Test activities.
The right person will perform technical configuration management activities and associated tasks, such as input into Configuration Control Boards and other design review activities. You will assess deliverables packages, reports, and processes, in order to provide recommendations for continuous improvement and to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
Lastly, you will be expected to be capable of building team capability through coaching, feedback and developing the quality of work undertaken by others within
a work unit, using your understanding of configuration management principles and processes. The role will require considerable stakeholder engagement in relation to complex or difficult issues.

The Joint System Division within CASG is a complex enterprise with a heavy dependence on information technology and its personnel.
- A demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of Configuration Management as applied to complex hardware and software systems throughout its lifecycle, as defined by ANSI/EIA-649, MIL-STD-973 or similar.
- A demonstrated ability to undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence providing detailed technical, operational, professional and procedural advice and support in relation to complex Configuration Management activities;
- A proven ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally, both in person and using digital platforms.
- An ability to develop productive relationships with diverse stakeholders as part of a team focus, including the ability to negotiate solutions to complex technical configuration management matters;
- Initiative and experience to analyse, plan, review and adjust priorities and work activities to meet business outcomes.
