We are looking for an **Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer** to join our well-respected, industry leading company

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this on-site role will be responsible for the full function of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within the business.

This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality. It also requires strong analytical and organisational skills in all aspects of the role. Time management capabilities and the ability to work to deadlines are also essential in this position.

**ROLE DUTIES**

**Accounts Payable**

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Receive and verify invoices, purchase orders and delivery dockets for goods and services
- Ensure correct approvals, sorting and matching of invoices/goods receipts
- Process invoices and allocate payments
- Assist with month-end accounts payable reconciliation
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations

**Accounts Receivable**

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Receive and verify information for invoicing
- Assist with issuing monthly customer statements
- Assist with contacting customers for overdue accounts

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts payable and receivable
- Xero experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great Time management & Organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 - 35 per week

**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- High School (Year 12) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounts payable and receivable: 2 years (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
