**The Role**
The Stakeholder Engagement team guides how JSA establishes, maintains and develops effective relationships with tripartite partners and other key stakeholders. The team coordinates and delivers engagement forums and strategic events and forge effective, impactful and sustainable balance across partnerships, engagements and outreach. The team are the secretariat for the Ministerial Advisory Board, providing structure and process to this central stakeholder mechanism.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, the APS6 Stakeholder Engagement Officer is responsible for facilitating strategic engagement activities which impact the broader Jobs and Skills Australia. You will enable and support the delivery of effective engagement that informs Jobs and Skills Australia advice. We aim to build a sophisticated and fit-for-purpose engagement approach that ensures the way we work with others is inclusive, effective, empowering, transparent and easy.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the APS Level 6 include:

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and deliver engagement and activities, including consultations, forums, and events.
- Draft communication materials such as briefs, reports, and stakeholder updates.
- Provide support for the stakeholder Customer Relationship Management System.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of engagement strategies and plans.
- Work collaboratively across the agency to ensure stakeholder insights inform policy and program development.
- Monitor and evaluate engagement outcomes to support continuous improvement.
- An ability to provide coordination support to committees, or a willingness to learn.
