We are partnered with a number of respected and established boutique, national and global Insurance firms around Brisbane who are looking to grow their teams with experienced Claims professionals. These are full time positions close to public transport in high performing and collaborative teams.
**The Roles**:
The Claims team works in partnership between both the customer and the stakeholders to support claimants through new methods and ideas. Claims officers manage the process from start to finish and ensure the claims have been settled and paid out to parties correctly and according to company regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- End to end management of your claims portfolio
- Appointment and liaison with service providers - medical practitioners, solicitors and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring that claims management processes are adhered to and reviewed to ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
- Maintenance of all claims files in an orderly and up to date manner
- Lodgements, assessments and settlements of claims
**Skills & Experience**
- Experience managing claims within an insurer or brokerage
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Effective time management and excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- The ability to show empathy
