**The opportunity**

Right now, we have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Data Governance Administrator to join the Advanced Analytics and Insights Branch within Customer, Strategy and Technology Division. This role is based at the Macquarie Park Office. As a Data Governance Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the data governance team in establishing and maintaining effective data governance practices within the organisation.

TfNSW offers hybrid/flexible working arrangements with a balance of office and work from home options.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support services for the Data Governance and Management team to ensure that frameworks and standards can be implemented and managed across the cluster.

**What you will be involved in**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain a data governance community of practice, promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement in data governance practices
- Develop meeting agendas in collaboration with the data governance team, document meeting minutes and maintain a centralised repository for meeting minutes, agendas, and related documentation
- Assist in creation of data governance processes to ensure data is protected and able to be democratised across the cluster
- Document Data Governance processes, frameworks, and standards
- Prepare reporting of key milestones in relation to data governance and management roadmaps

**About You**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in exploring, setting up, and implementing a data governance community of practice is highly desirable.
- You will be able to demonstrate experience supporting a team together with strong administration skills with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft packages. Prior experience of any data governance tools is a nice to have.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is Grade 6 ($97,279 - $107,007) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
