**What does your daily life look like at Yancoal?**:
As the Marketing Team Assistant you will contribute to the execution of Yancoal’s Marketing function: coordinating administration activities, counterparty management, travel bookings, marketing event management, expense submissions, account payable processing, electronic file management and translation of reports as required.
Your responsibilities include
- Manage Marketing and Logistics Travel Bookings including expense tracking against Budget
- Update Counterparty details in the Counterparty Management System
- Arrange/coordinate mine site visits
- Arrange customer meetings/and associated events.
- Arrange Workshop, Seminars and Conferences
- Co-ordiante Meeting Schedules
- Processing Expenses, raising purchase orders, assisting in presentation preparation, arranging workshops and Marketing Events, maintain Gifts and Benefit register, assist in Audit requirements and other general administrative matters.
- Translation of Marketing Reports and correspondence primarily from English to Chinese and occasionally from Chinese to English
**What do you need to be successful in the role?**:
To be successful in the role you will require the following skills & experience:
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years experience in administration and or assistant for a business unit. Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Business (desirable, not essential)**Experience**:
- Experience within some of the following areas: company administration, accounts payable, and travel co-ordination.
**Skills**:
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Proven organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the role
- Good communicator with a variety of people, cultures, seniorities
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Goal oriented approach
- Chinese (Mandarin) Language skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from our office to support the team
- Positive “Can-do” attitude
