**About the Opportunity**

We are on the lookout for a Process Owner based in Macquarie Park on a fixed term (18 months) full time basis. The Process Owner role is Pillar agnostic and exists to drive cross-Pillar process alignment (One Metcash approach) while ensuring the solution is fit for purpose for each Pillar. A key part of this role will be partnering with the Technology team to replace legacy systems and deliver a modern technology platform (D365, PDS, IOM, Azure). Preparing the Pillar to receive and then leverage the new capabilities to release the value of investments in technology is critical to this role.

The role will focus on driving end-to-end process understanding, alignment & simplification. By building and managing a network of Process Specialists, SMEs & Business Receivers, the Process Owner ensures our core processes are streamlined, efficient and effective to deliver quality outcomes for our Customers, Suppliers, Internal teams and Shareholders.

**In this Role**

**Deliver Technical Solution** - Partner Technology team and Pillars to ensure delivery of a fit for purpose solutions:

- Work with Technology counterparts in the fusion team to design, build, test and deploy technology enabled business solutions for Process area.
- Work with Technology and Pillar leads to ensure the required resources are available as SMEs or for testing and deployment activities.

**Prepare Business to Receive** - Ensure processes are streamlined and simplified where possible and data cleansed ahead of deployment (where required).
- Identify opportunities for alignment (where possible) on process variations across National, States & functional teams.

**Implementation & Business Readiness including Transition State** - Support Pillar and Change teams with Business Readiness activities ensuring a robust transition state is designed and understood.
- Ensure deployment plans take into consideration Operational considerations and ensure Business continuity.
- Engage deeply with the Pillar teams to ensure stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Prepare impacted groups (internal & external) for change and ensure changes are embedded.
- Provide inputs into Change Impact Assessment (CIA), Training Needs Analysis (TNA), training materials and communications development.

**Align for Success** - Provide process expertise to Pillar initiatives to ensure alignment with future state landscape.
- Partner with Business Program/Project Managers to support programs/projects with process understanding and optimization.Educate and build capability across the enterprise on Process excellence and the benefits for their Customers, Suppliers and internal teams.

- Understanding of IT deployment & Change methodologies.
- Deep cross-functional understanding of Retail/Wholesale and end to end value stream.
- Prior experience with large scale IT implementations and business transformation projects.
- Exposure and experience in Enterprise Change Management methodologies and procedures.
- Successful management of Process simplification and optimization.
- Business Leader / Manager with over 10+ years of experience and specialization in Retail/Wholesale
